On Monday 9th February the Year 2 classes watched a puppet show in the Music Room at St James Cavalier in Valletta. The animated story was called ‘The Richest Crocodile in the World’ through which the children learnt that the most important thing is not how much you have but being able to share and enjoy whatever you have with friends. Later the children collaborated in groups to produce different prints using ink and also created their own masks featuring the various animal characters from the puppet show.

Mid day break; 20 minute activity with Ms Melanie.

Pupils in Ms Ciscaldi’s class were given Easter egg templates and flower templates which were glued to a cardboard. When the children were ready from colouring, they glued the flowers to the egg and gave it a pop up effect by bending the petals upwards. A hole was punched in, for the eggs to be hung in the class.
