Dear parents and teachers, The PTA committee invites you to gather as one College community during Advent as we prepare ourselves for the great feast of Christmas, when we celebrate the precious gift of Jesus in our hearts and lives. You are also invited to join us in providing tangible support to those in need, in keeping with the Christmas spirit as well as this year’s College focus on the goal of Community. Please fill in and tick the appropriate parts of the form here –> 2017 PTA Christmas event, mince pies and logs circular and make your booking and donations by Tuesday 12th December 2017. The form is to be filled in also by Senior School choir students who are taking part in the performance and their respective parents. However, the children who are taking part in the performance are to tick the respective box on the form and do not need to send in the €2 donation. Saturday 16th December 2016 at 6.15pm in the Auditorium (doors open at 6.00pm) Carol Service and Holy Mass, followed by refreshments in St. Paul’s Hall.

Dear Parents and Teachers
Below please find a final Notice and Agenda for the Annual General Meeting of the PTA. You are all members of the PTA and it is of utmost importance that you attend. You are encouraged to participate, make suggestions, hear about activities and projects, as well as to show the Committee your support.
Four nominations have been received for the four vacant posts for parent representatives on the PTA committee. Therefore, an election with respect to the PTA committee will not be held. Mrs Alison Bajada, Mr George Gatt, Ms Gabriella Gauci and Mr Owen Mifsud will form part of the committee for the period 2017 – 2019.
You are all kindly requested to fill in and return the slip below (click here –> AGENDA and FINAL NOTICE AGM 2017) regarding this Notice and Agenda. It is understood that you shall not be bringing your children with you unless you sent in the respective application form by the closing date which was the 9th November 2017.

The End of Year Thanksgiving Event will be held in the College grounds on Wednesday 28th June (eve of a public holiday) at 7.00pm.  Come enjoy a nice evening together with other parents, staff and children.  Plenty of games for the kids to enjoy, including two bouncy castles.  All games are free.

Last year’s event was a success, let’s make this year’s event an even bigger success.  This is a fund raising event and with your participation, the PTA can assist in projects benefiting the school and ultimately our own children.

Closing date is Friday 16th June.

Dear parents and students

The PTA committee thanks all those of you who support the PTA throughout the year in its initiatives to nurture the school community as well as to help raise much-needed funds for the school’s projects. Such projects are aimed at enriching the students’ school experience and we encourage you to participate in this year’s PTA Raffle in order to help make these projects a reality. Tickets will be sent to you with your children so please ask for them.

The Raffle will be drawn on the 28th June during the PTA Thanksgiving Event.



Kindly note:
 Each packet contains 25 tickets.
 A donation of 50c per ticket or a donation of €10 for a whole packet is kindly being requested. In other words, for every 20 tickets taken you get the remaining 5 free for yourselves. Therefore, please send €10 to the PTA per packet of 25 tickets. Cheques are to be made payable to ‘SACRED HEART COLLEGE PTA’.
 Please return the ticket stubs (filled in with all the details), money donated and any left-over tickets in a sealed envelope labelled ‘PTA Raffle’ to the class teacher (Junior School students) or Secretary’s office (Senior School Students) by FRIDAY 12TH MAY 2017.
 Please write the name of child and class clearly on the envelope so that we will know that you have returned the tickets.
 If you do not manage to take one or more tickets, please return them.
 Unfortunately, if the packet is misplaced, €10 will still have to be donated. Therefore, returning the packet by the closing date, whether or not you have taken all the tickets is highly recommended.
 The Raffle will be drawn on the 28th June during the PTA Thanksgiving Event, details of which will be sent closer to the date. We encourage you to attend so we can enjoy this evening together.
